Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a writer and communications professional based in Atlanta.
In the past, I've worked as a digital editor/editorial aide in The Washington Post's Style section, as Head of Sales and Partnerships for The Tempest, and as Communications Manager for Feminist Women's Health Center of Atlanta. I was also the social media manager for a web series called "Hermione Granger and the Quarter Life Crisis" (which you should watch immediately), created a newsletter called AllBlackGirlEverything with my friend, writer Niesha Miller, and worked as a blog correspondent for Stop Street Harassment.
I've written for The Post, AJC.com, The Baltimore Sun, Communication Arts Magazine, Madame Noire, Ebony.com, The Tempest, FairyGodBoss, Bitch Magazine, Comic Book Resources, XO Jane, Washington City Paper, Earner Magazine and Hearts Converse.
In 2021, my first short story, "The House by the Dell" was featured in the Gothic fiction anthology, When Other People Saw Us, They Saw The Dead.
